Finance, Governance and Performance Directorate

The Finance, Governance and Performance Directorate provide a wide range of specialist functions that directly support the business. These include financial and budgetary planning and control; assurance, fraud and risk management; security and safety, information assurance and business continuity.

The Directorate looks after the essential governance and reporting systems that make sure the Agency can control its resources and account effectively to the Board, to Ministers and to Parliament. Finance staff are also involved with all of the major change programmes and investment decisions across HM Courts & Tribunals Service, providing specialist input and advice to make sure that costs, benefits and risks are understood and effectively controlled. We also work jointly with MoJ on strategic projects including Shared Services and fees reform and we work with colleagues in estates, procurement and ICT functions.
