As a Trainee Legal Adviser (TLA), you’ll benefit from a minimum of two years of in-depth training. We partner with the Judicial College, and all of our TLAs get access to their huge electronic library and learning resources. From essential legal knowledge, to courtroom, advice giving, and drafting skills, you’ll learn everything you need to know to begin a flourishing career as a Legal adviser

In addition, if you are on a solicitor professional learning pathway, we can support you to complete your training and qualification with the SRA. We are one of the largest providers of training contracts, taking on up to 200 new TLAs every year since 2019.
The development doesn’t stop when the training ends. You’ll benefit from ongoing training in law, practice and procedure, and have the opportunity to develop wider skills such as mentoring, coaching, operational delivery or leadership.
We’re passionate about career development – you can choose from a number of training and development platforms to suit you best. Working with your manager, you’ll be given the support and time you need to complete the courses.
