Pension
Your pension is a valuable part of your total reward package. When you start working for the MoJ, you will have a choice between two civil service pension schemes, the alpha scheme and the partnership scheme.
Alpha scheme
This is a defined benefit, career average pension scheme that allows you to build up your pension using an annual accrual rate of 2.32%. In addition to your personal contributions, MoJ will make an employer contribution between 26.6% and 27.9%, dependent on your pensionable salary. Partnership Scheme
This is a personal pension scheme where your employer will pay your contributions. If you do choose to contribute, your employer will match your contributions up to a further 3% of your pensionable earnings. Vivup Justice Rewards Portal
This portal allows you to access a wide range of discounts on holidays, food, groceries, electrical items and entertainment. They’re redeemable via physical and e-gift cards, reloadable cards and discount codes.
